Staff Accountant
Responsibilities
General Ledger Management:
- Deeply understand and manage the general ledger accounts.
- Ensure all transactions are accurately recorded and classified.
Financial Reporting:
- Provide accurate and timely financial reports.
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
Reconciliation:
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
- Assist in audit preparation and coordinate with auditors.
Communication:
- Communicate financial insights and results to the finance team and other departments.
- Use clear and concise language to simplify complex financial information.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A portfolio demonstrating experience in financial management and reporting.
- 3+ years of industry experience in accounting or finance.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
