Network Administrator
Responsibilities
Network Management:
- Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal functionality.
Security:
- Implement and manage network security measures to protect against unauthorized access, vulnerabilities, and threats.
- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments.
Support:
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to staff for network-related issues.
- Maintain and configure network hardware, such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
Documentation:
- Create and maintain network documentation, including configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date records of network infrastructure changes.
Upgrades:
- Plan and execute network upgrades and expansions to meet organizational needs.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance network performance and security.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in network administration or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, hardware, and software.
- Proficiency in network security practices and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
